The Hero Initiative - Helping Comic Creators in Need

This organization works to form a financial safety net for vintage comic creators. It helps provide them with money for medical care and the essentials of life. This is a federally chartered non-profit organization dedicated to the service of veteran comic artists.

If you’ve been to see the Avengers (which most of you have), please donate to the Hero Initiative. Donate the same amount as the cost of your ticket. I’m going to. It’s a small donation, but if we all do it, we’re helping out the very people that helped form the franchises that we all love. If you love movies like The Avengers, Thor, Iron Man, Batman, and the comics that spawned them, then you should be helping out The Hero Initiative.
